POSITION:    PAID ON CALL FIREFIGHTER

LOCATION:  HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Highland Township Fire Department is seeking self-motivated individuals who are interested in becoming a paid on call Firefighter/EMT. Highland Township Fire Department offers the opportunity to become a well-rounded Fire Fighter and EMT through education and on the job experience. Applicants will respond to fire alarms and emergency medical calls and perform technical work providing fire suppression and human health emergency medical services while on call. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:   Applicants must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license (with 0 points), be at least 18 years of age and have received a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) at time of application.   Applicants must also successfully pass a physical, drug screening, physical agility test and back ground check.  All applicants must live in Highland Township.
